Affinity Health Center operates with a staff of 69 full-time and 5 part-time employees. Our team of providers includes an Internal Medicine/Infectious Disease Physician, two Family Practice Physicians, three Family Nurse Practitioners, a Certified Nurse Midwife, Dentist, Mental Health Counselors, contracted consulting Psychiatrist, and Registered Dietitian. We also have clinical support staff, case managers, and community health educators to provide comprehensive health services for you and your family. Compliance & Human Resources Manager


Affinity Health Center seeks a full-time Compliance & Human Resources Manager, responsible for development, implementation, oversight and evaluation of Affinity’s Compliance Program.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for oversight of the Risk Management Program.

  • Provides oversight for Human Resources department, including direct supervision of Human Resources Generalist.


Education & Experience:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in compliance and/or non-profit management preferred; human resources experience preferred.

  • JD, MBA, MHA, MPA or similar education preferred.

Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant


Affinity Health Center, a federally qualified health center, seeks a full-time primary care Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant with special interest in HIV/ STD prevention to build a program focused on integrated HIV prevention and primary care.


Position will focus on providing Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) and other HIV prevention services within the primary care setting as well as providing primary care with patients living with HIV and those more vulnerable to HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases.

Facilities Maintenance Technician


Our growing company is currently in need of a responsible individual to fill the position of Facilities Maintenance Technician. The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal operating results. The successful candidate will oversee the company's facility operations, manage staff requests for building assistance, facilitate emergency response and security protocols, and manage office moves and janitorial duties while remaining in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.

Requirements


  • High School Diploma required; certificate or degree in related field preferred.

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in general facility and equipment maintenance

  • Experience with building systems and through knowledge of facility equipment

  • Knowledge of OSHA and crisis management preferred

  • Candidate must also be willing to travel locally to satellite office(s).

Community Health Educator


Affinity Health Center is a fast-paced environment seeking a talented individual who cares about people and wants to be part of making our community healthy and vibrant!
Affinity seeks a full time Community Health Educator to provide rapid and HIV/HCV testing, counseling, and referral services; provide HIV/HCV/STD education; support HCV linkage to care; and participate in community health fairs and events.


  • High school diploma or equivalent required, plus any combination of training and experience which would provide the required knowledge and abilities to perform the job duties.
  • HIV/HCV testing experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience providing outreach, education and services to diverse populations, including distinct gender, race, sexual orientation and economic levels.

  • Bilingual preferred.

  • Flexible hours, some evenings and weekends required.

  • Local travel required for meetings, presentations and community events
